Falcon InTernship Program
Falcon internships are non-paying work experience positions only.
- Total Hours: 480 hours
- Duration: 12 Weeks
- Hours per week: 40 hours
(Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM)

The position involves the design and creation of high impact, web-based
Rich Media and website sales demos under the direct supervision
of Falcon-Software's CEO, Gary Eisenstein. This process will utilize
Macromedia Flash MX, ActionScripting, Photoshop 7 and Dreamweaver
MX. Software training is NOT a part of the internship process.
All applicants must provide an online portfolio showcasing their most recent Flash animation, Photoshop work, 'computer-generated' illustrations and hand-drawings. Résumés not accompanied by an online portfolio will not be considered for internship.
Experience with the following technologies is essential:
- Macromedia Flash MX
- Actionscripting
- Macromedia Dreamweaver
- Adobe Photoshop 7.0
The ideal candidate must have proven creativity and artistic skills.
Interns must be able to accept visual, verbal and written theme
direction; have an eye for detail and the enthusiasm for its application;
have independent problem solving skills; and be a team player. Successful
interns will be able to flourish in a high-stress, real-world environment.
In addition, this person will be mature, diligent and passionate
about completing tasks to the 'best' of his or her ability in a
timely manner.
Interns will have the opportunity to work in a real-world work environment and gain valuable on-the-job skills. Interning is a great way to build up your résumé and impress future employers by demonstrating your willingness to succeed. A letter of success will be awarded to those who complete their three-month internship. Though no guarantees of employment with Falcon-Software are expressed or implied, interns who successfully complete their three months may be given preferential status for future hiring.
