PROJECT MANAGER

 
Department: Production
Location: Full-time position onsite in our Victoria office
Reports To: VP of Production

 
We are looking for a mature, team-oriented, and creative individual with the ability to work independently. A strong understanding of website development and Internet technology is definitely an asset.

Job Description:
Website production responsibilities include website project scheduling, planning, monitoring deliverables and status reporting for multiple simultaneous projects. The successful candidate will also be responsible for client communications including generating, recognizing new business opportunities and ongoing customer service and support.

Qualifications:
Previous work experience is essential, along with excellent written and oral communication skills, project coordination experience and website production experience. The applicant must have strong client relations, problem solving and analytical skills. Also, the applicant must have a thorough understanding of current trends and developments in Internet technology, and must be able to work in a strong team atmosphere, under pressure with great attention to detail. Applicants should understand the following technologies:

  • Adobe Photoshop 7 or CS2, Macromedia Dreamweaver, .NET, JavaScript, DHTML, XML, VRML
  • Basic HTML and CSS hand coding ability
  • Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel & Access

Work Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Salary:
Competitive training wage for a 3-month period with a new salary negotiated after a successful evaluation. The Salary package also includes performance bonuses and incentives and a healthcare benefits package.
