Announces Falcon-Software has been selected to participate in the Mozambique Mentorship Program - "MozLink" - funded by USAID, as part of a Global Development Alliance, and the FCIP Group.Victoria, BC - November 30th, 2004Falcon-Software Company has been awarded the honor of designing and developing a tourism website for the Northern Mozambique pro bono through its membership with the FCIP Group. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), TechnoServe (the U.S.-based non-profit business development organization that manages MozLink), and the FCIP Group will be working together with Falcon-Software to promote labor-intensive exports from Mozambique to North America and other global markets. Falcon-Software's core objective will be to help increase international tourism arrivals to Northern Mozambique through the design and development of a dynamic and professional website, which will help to promote the region as a travel destination. Team members from Falcon-Software and FCIP Group will travel to Mozambique in early February 2005 to visit the region and meet with key players to better understand their current offerings and assess their marketing needs. The Northern Mozambique tourism website development is slated to begin in late February 2005, with a provisional site launch in April 2005. "This exciting opportunity is a first for our firm", says Gary Eisenstein, Executive Director of Falcon-Software and founding member of the FCIP Group. "We've been building pro-bono websites regionally and nationally as a member of the FCIP Group since 2002, with this being Falcon's first international endeavor".
