ASP. (DOT) NET 2.0
It's been three years now since Microsoft introduced its .NET framework. Falcon-Software was quick to
adopt this new technology, allowing us to build better web applications than ever before. Over the past
few months, Microsoft has release version 2.0 of its .NET framework, and once again, Falcon-
Software is moving to integrate this new technology into our set of development tools.
First and foremost, ASP.NET makes building high-end web applications dramactically faster that classic
ASP or other technolgies. ASP.NET 2.0 includes new and more powerful controls that allow our
developers to build better websites, in less time. The new .NET framework has introduced Master
Pages to help create and control a common look and feel for a website. Just change the Master Page
and all pages automatically reflect the change.
In addition to the framework itself, Microsoft has also released new and improved development tools,
most notably, Visual Studio .NET 2005. This new IDE (Integrated Development Environment)
contains a wealth of new controls and additional tools for designing web applications.
With the ASP.NET 2.0 at our disposal, Falcon-Software continues to deliver high-quality, state-of-the-art
web applications.
