Managing Spam for Falcon-Hosted Email Accounts
Falcon’s email hosting service includes an optional Spam filter for each account. You can customize the Spam filter settings to apply specific actions to emails that qualify as high, medium or low probability of being junk mail.
You can choose to tag emails with special text, send the email to a specified folder in your email program or, delete the emails altogether. We have prepared instructions to guide you through the most popular custom setting.
Custom Setting Features
- Emails that qualify as High probability of being Spam will be deleted. These emails may not be downloaded to another email program.
- Emails that qualify as Low or Medium probability of being Spam will have text added to the subject line indicating that they are “Junk Mail”.
- You will create a Junk mail folder within your email program (such as Outlook) and all emails that qualify as Low or Medium probability of being Spam will get downloaded to that folder. This will allow you to preview these emails to ensure valid messages have not been tagged.
