 How to Exclude Your IP Address From Your Web Traffic Reports.
When you run a report using SmarterStats* web traffic reports, your report includes traffic from all visitors to your website. You will need to exclude your IP address from these reports if you want to get a true picture of your web traffic.
Instructions:
- Log on to SmarterStats
Go to stats.falcon-software.com
and enter your Site ID, Username and Password
- From the menu, choose Site Settings > Site Import
Settings
- Click ‘Next’
- Click ‘Add Exclusion or Inclusion’
- Choose ‘Exclude an IP Addrress’
- Enter your IP address
To find out your IP address, go to www.falcon-software.com/ip.asp.
- Click ‘Save’
- Click ‘Next’
- Select ‘Reprocess the Logs’
to reprocess your log files with your IP address excluded.
The stats will be unavailable for a couple of hours while
the logs are reprocessed.
You can repeat the process to exclude other IP addresses.
