VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, June 4, 2018 — PRESS RELEASE —In April 2018, Falcon-Software became a certified and authorized training partner for Progress Sitefinity’s Web Content Management platform, teaching Sitefinity business users how to use the platforms features and functionality and helping make the most out of their Sitefinity investment.
Falcon-Software will be conducting monthly instructor led training sessions for business users to effectively learn how to use and administer Sitefinity, such as creating, editing, previewing and publishing content for their websites. Building pages and forms faster with an amazing drag-and-drop user experience. Make fast updates with Sitefinity’s powerful inline editing tools and ensuring content quality and governance with the platforms approval workflows, granular permissions and version history. Managing this new service will fall on the shoulders of Stephen Medve. “Based on our WCM experience and deep Sitefinity knowledgebase, Falcon-Software was selected by Progress Sitefinity as their exclusive training partner”, states Stephen Medve, Falcon-Software’s Vice President and Client Development Manager. “The sandbox environment and labs we will be providing to trainee’s can also be used as a reference, to offset any time delays for users from the point of when they take the course, to when they actually begin to manage content”, says Medve. The Business Users classes are designed for anyone who’s job description requires time-critical information design and delivery.
In order for Stephen to make room on his plate so he can properly manage the new Sitefinity Training Services, he will be handing his Vendor Partner Development duties over to Laura Myers. “I’m very excited about this change”, states Gary Eisenstein, President of Falcon-Software Company. “Stephen has been instrumental in the success of our strong vendor relations and has paved the way for Laura to excel in her new role”. “Also, Laura’s vast knowledge of the IT industry and celebrity-like status with CMS-Connected Media is a perfect fit in my opinion for advancing our relations with Falcon-Software’s current and future vendor partners”, says Eisenstein.
“In the content management world we are seeing so many siloes shattered and a free flow of content and capacities taking over”, states Laura Myers, Falcon-Software’s New Business and Marketing Manager. “I see this opportunity very much following that same ideal, allowing me to consolidate many of my interests into one role, with growth as my main objective. During my time as Marketing Manager for CMS-Connected I had a singular focus of creating a place for diverse content and commentary on many components of the digital business world, while also acting as an educational resource for consumers and once I tapped into the vast network of thought leaders in the space, I found no shortage of wonderful insight to share and report on”, says Myers. “While my commitment to the advancement of CMS-Connected Media will continue as strong as ever alongside my new responsibilities at Falcon-Software, any chance I can have to build on that momentum with an optimization benefitting both sides is a win for everyone”.
